Early 20th Century Burroughs Class 3 Hand-Crank Adding Machine Calculator

The machine is operated by a hand crank on the right side. After entering a number on the keyboard, pulling the handle adds that number to the internal register and prints it on a paper roll.
These machines are exceptionally heavy (often 35 to 70 lbs) and built with a durable cast iron or steel frame. Introduced primarily between 1905 and the 1920s, these machines were a staple in banks and accounting offices before the era of electronic calculators. The company, founded by William Seward Burroughs, dominated the market for over half a century with these reliable mechanical "arithmometers"

Pickup is available for local buyers only and must be scheduled within 5 business days of purchase. We will ship using our shipping prices and the amount will be charged to the card on file. All items will be shipped at customers expense and is non-negotiable. We ship using the most competitive UPS/USPS rates to keep all shipping affordable. Shipping will be determined after final bids are made and purchases are being finalized. It will then be charged to card on file. Buyer is responsible for filing any claims with carrier in the event of damage or loss. Order cannot be cancelled once payment has been made.
