"Make No Mistake Collectors! These sheets were not supposed to be released without perforations in full sheets, Issued only in souvenir sheets (see photo from a sale on ebay)

These Are RARE Afghanistan Perforation ERROR Stamps (Sheets Released Imperf) 1961 Scott 536-538 Full Mint Sheets. Serious Collectors***

A RARE Opportunity ***Imperf Sheet ERROR Stamps, Previously Unknown To Exist GEM MINT Afghanistan Postage ERROR Sheets Scott # 536-538 Full Mint Sheets Released Un-perforated1961 United Nations Headquarters Issue Gummed, but released in ERROR without perfs - 3 Full Sheets - 3 Different Issues - 50 stamps per sheeT

ORIGIN: A US Army serviceman who was a collector, happened upon these, while stationed in Afghanistan... noticed the mistake while at the postal office, and so... he purchased the remaining stock from the local Postal Office immediately upon noticing them; the postal clerk not knowing what he had (read story below).

These sheets are perfectly clean overall, and with nice uniform borders with no tint or fading.

READ ON: Interesting story with these, They were obtained by a US Army collector who happened to come by them at a postal location on site, during duty in Afghanistan. None known to exist in full sheets without perforations, ONLY IN SOUVENIRE SHEETS! This was certainly an error release, as the only known imperf stamps are found in the sets which are the souvenir sheets of 3.. and others with blocks of 4. Regular issue numbers used for reference: # 536 (red 50p), 537 (brown 75p), 538 (green 175p) which were supposed to be Perf: 13 1/2 x 14. These obviously escaped that procedure and got through to postal release.

Scott numbers do not even reflect a number for any issued in unperforated full sheets, as they are not known to exist. These Sheets, including borders are 12 5/8" x 9"

Do Not pass on this group if you are a collector or an investor. You can search all over the internet or everywhere and you will not find these stamps in full sheets without perforations. WQe have done the research. This is an amazing opportunity.... Offered very reasonably at start of this auction.... Catalog & Rarity Value may be a phenominal amount when properly allocated.
